A Bourbon Culture Curated Event
Some experiences are designed to be memorable. Others are designed to be intentional.
In the summer of 2025, Bourbon Culture partnered with the legendary St. Elmo Steak House and the team at Huse Culinary to host a private whiskey tasting and paired lunch built entirely around the Rare Saint portfolio of spirits.
This was not a standard tasting.
It was a carefully curated experience months in the making—bringing together craftsmanship, storytelling, and thoughtful pairing in one of the most iconic dining rooms in the country.
The Concept
The goal was simple, but ambitious:
Create an elevated whiskey experience that honored the Rare Saint spirits while showcasing the culinary expertise of St. Elmo Steak House in a way few people ever get to experience.
St. Elmo does not serve lunch.
For this event, they opened their doors mid-day for a private, limited-capacity gathering, reserved exclusively for Bourbon Culture guests and whiskey enthusiasts.
Every detail—from the order of pours to the pacing of the meal—was designed to feel deliberate, immersive, and premium.
Building the Experience

In collaboration with the St. Elmo culinary team, Bourbon Culture worked through each expression of Rare Saint to design a multi-course, spirit-paired lunch that complemented the flavor profile of every pour.
This process included:
- Tasting through the Rare Saint lineup in advance
- Collaborating directly with chefs on menu development
- Designing the flow of the tasting to support storytelling and guest engagement
The result was not simply good food and good whiskey—but a cohesive experience where each element enhanced the next.
What Guests Experienced

Guests were guided through:
- A host-led tasting of the Rare Saint spirits portfolio
- A thoughtfully crafted, multi-course lunch paired with each pour
- Storytelling and insights from the Bourbon Culture team
- A rare opportunity to dine inside St. Elmo Steak House during daylight hours
The event was intentionally intimate, allowing for conversation, education, and connection—both with the spirits and with one another.
The Role of Bourbon Culture

Bourbon Culture served as the concept lead, brand partner, and host for the experience.
Our role spanned:
- Event concept development and positioning
- Brand collaboration with Rare Saint and Huse Culinary
- Audience development and ticketed event marketing
- Tasting flow and storytelling design
- On-site hosting and guest engagement
This experience reflects Bourbon Culture’s broader mission: to create meaningful, well-executed whiskey experiences that prioritize craftsmanship, context, and community.
Why This Event Mattered
In a world of crowded tastings and surface-level experiences, this event demonstrated what’s possible when brands collaborate with intention.
It showed how:
- Thoughtful partnerships can elevate a product story
- Experiential marketing can deepen brand connection
- Whiskey culture can be both educational and refined
For Bourbon Culture, it was an opportunity to bring our editorial voice to life—off the page and into a room full of people who appreciate the details.
Looking Ahead
This Rare Saint experience at St. Elmo Steak House represents the type of collaboration Bourbon Culture aims to pursue moving forward: intentional, elevated, and rooted in respect for both the product and the audience.
More experiences like this are ahead.
